I finally "finished" Greg's gloves. Well... I finished the knitting portion, I still need to tuck in the edges and nonsense. The perfectionist in me is not pleased, since they definitely don't look big enough. I know I need to bite the bullet and just tuck in the edges, wrap 'em up and send them off. Hopefully when the boy gets back from school, he will look at them and give me the reassurance I need to do so.
In the meantime, I started working on the boy's gloves. I'm using the Cigar pattern posted on Knitty. I sat thru my friend's Christmas party last night, knitting away in the corner. I've finished up to the index and middle fingers. And once again I stopped working on them due to the worries on sizing. Only this time, they look HUGE. I know he has big hands and super-long fingers, so hopefully they do fit. Once again, I'm going to put off doing the closed fingers until he gets back from school and tries them on for size.
So now, I sit here trying to decide between starting the second glove or finally going out to get food. It's these big decisions in life that leave me baffled.
